Movement 01

First, it learns the boat.

On first boot, Bosun scans your NMEA 2000 bus and figures out what's connected — Fusion stereo, CZone lighting, digital switching, whatever your boat has. Then it builds voice commands around it. "Dim the salon lights and play some music."

Voiceprints and faceprints are processed and stored on your boat, kept on the device itself. Camera vision, instrument monitoring, and security run entirely on your vessel's hardware. Voice AI uses encrypted cloud services for natural-language responses; offline fallback keeps the system usable off the grid.

Yes. Core processing runs on your boat — voiceprints, faceprints, camera feeds, instrument reads, wake word detection. Voice transcription and advanced AI responses use encrypted cloud services when connected. If you lose connectivity, Bosun continues running instrument queries, camera monitoring, anchor watch, and speaker recognition locally.
